Pomp and Circumstance Graduation Card

Pomp and Circumstance Graduation Card

I needed a graduation card for my cousin's graduation from William and Mary a few weeks back so below is what I came up with. The colors were inspired by the school colors green, gold, and silver. The stamp set I bought a few months back because I knew I would be attending two graduations and I wanted "Graduation specific" stamps. I had also just bought the Flowering Flourishes stamp set thanks to Pinterest (the enemy) because I kept seeing so many awesome cards made with it and I finally gave in! Hope you like it, she loved it :-). I also posted the "ingredients" below the picture if you would like to see what I used to make it.

Ingredients:

Paper:
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Crushed Curry Cardstock
- Garden Green Cardstock

Ink:
- Crushed Curry Ink Pad
- Black Stazon Ink Pad

Stamp Sets:
Flowering Flourishes
- Pomp and Circumstance*

Punches/Dies/Edgelits/Etc.:

- Decorative Label Punch
- Word Window Punch
- Adnorning Accents Edgelits

Other:
- Stampin' Up! Blender Pens
- Organza Ribbon - Whisper White

*2014 Spring Occasions Mini Item (Ends June 1st)

The perhaps not-so-obvious...
- The Brain and Cap are popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals.
- I also fussy-cut (means by hand) the Brain and Cap since there is no punch for it.
- I used the Crushed Curry and Blender Pens to color in the Cap tassel.
- The Crushed Curry decorative label punch-out was cut in half to glue to the back of the Garden Green decorative label punch-out.
